true enough, but generally (or, at least with the droid phone i have),
I've *heard* that leaving wifi "on" when you aren't using it ends up
being a large drain on the battery (something about constantly seeking
for a wifi connection, plus the fact it is yet another
transmitter/receiver you are running)  I haven't had my phone long
enough to verify how much water this claim holds ;) but if true, I'd
imagine much the same for a tablet (but with that much more room for a
battery in it, I imagine the battery cap is much larger as well - I'll
have to ask about that at the store...)

(also, the logic of "wifi must be faster" won't apply at my house -
since my wifi is ultimately throttled by my dsl, and that is only
384k, 3g/4g is faster...)
