Entity FX located in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a smart, creative T.A. 
to be a part of our company. Candidates must possess excellent 
communication skills, a good sense of troubleshooting, a solid work 
ethic, and the ability to work in a fast paced and evolving environment. 
Experience in Post Production/Visual Effects a must.

Duties include but not limited to...

. Provide systems-level support and trouble shooting for desktops, 
servers and network hardware
. Install and configure workstations, operation systems and applications
. Monitor disk space, account creation and hardware/software setups and 
installations
. Maintain documentation
. Self starter, solution minded, creative thinker

    * Must reside in Los Angeles area

Desired skills:

. Post Production/VFX industry experience
. Required B.S. or equivalent in Computer Science or related work experience
. Linux, OS X, Win2k, IRIX
. Cross Platform integration (DNS, NFS, SAMBA, CIFS...etc.)
. Support for Render/Computing farms and Desktop/ workstations Linux/Windows
. Clustered File systems, NAS, SAN
. Cisco Network switches, GigE
. Ability to write scripts in some administrative language such as BASH, 
PYTHON and PERL
. Experience with Discreet Systems Products -- Flame/Inferno
. Support projects using Maya, Shake and After Effects.

Entity FX is a high-end post-production facility that specializes in 
world class Visual Effects and Animation for Feature Film and 
Television. Its current production slate includes the sixth season of 
Smallville, Sean Penn's feature film Into the Wild, Jieho Lee's feature 
film The Air I Breathe, and a science based animation project for 
Discovery Channel.
