There are already the #LALUGS and #SGVLUG channels on irc.freenode.net
 
I've been meaning to plant my eggdrop in the #sgvlug channel (so that
way there is at least one fembot there always =), but I just haven't had
time to do so yet. =/

Just curious - how many of you guys would like an IRC channel? Basically
a channel where we can hang out in and just chit chat ... I could give
Tom a java applet to put on the site or something. I'm thinking
freenode. I idle on there 24/7 anyways ... if you guys think it's a good
idea I could help set one up. Just didn't know if you guys would use it
or not.
