[SGVLUG] What kind of talks do you want to hear?

Given the situation, I'm going to suggest an "open forum" meeting -- any
topic, any question, any "cool thing you just have to show off" welcome
-- just beware that you might ask a question or suggest a topic for
which nobody in the room has any expertise, and the room will get
uncomfortably quiet...

one other thing to consider: this will be around the start of the school
semester -- we DO want to recruit students so that things like the
projector overheating or even access to the room are less of an issue.
(the projector shutting off can be one of a few causes -- most likely is
age of the bulb, then there is the fact that the room's A/C is usually
turned off by the time we start our meeting)

I'll be posting this to the (recently revitalized) website soon -- of
course, if someone does come up with a better suggestion and speaker, I
have no qualms about changing it...

SCLUG has begun reviewing config files and the like for their meetings
when a special speaker cannot be found. May I suggest we consider doing
something like this?

I'm curious as to what you guys want to hear. Sure, anyone could get
someone to talk ... and I know there is little incentive to get someone
to talk, but what would you guys want to hear if you had a choice?

I haven't been able to get in contact with that guy from E-Eye.
