Tom,

Nah, it wasn't in regards to the java-based IRC. The reason it doesn't work
for you is more than likely because your work network doesn't allow outgoing
traffic on port 6667. Try logging in from home, maybe. A few of us have
tested and it works.

Oh, for whatever it's worth... 200GB Internal IDE drive - MAXTOR - $60.
